Dates for South African Menswear Week Spring\/Summer 15\/16 collections have been announced today in Cape Town, South Africa. \u00a0Show dates are 01 to 04 July 2015, and all collections will be showcased at a new location.<\/p>\n
The designer lineup is stronger than ever before. \u00a0 With almost every designer returning, a number of new and emerging menswear designers have been identified, and big name established designers will also be joining the line up. \u00a0 SA Menswear Week has prided itself on a strong designer lineup, and we’ve spent the last few months talking to designers and getting them on board. \u00a0It’s really the best of the best, and no padding to fill slots.<\/p>\n
Building on the success of the inaugural SAMW event held in Feburary at the V&A Waterfront, everyone is dying to know the next underground location. \u00a0 Venues have always been\u00a0a unique dimension for the SA Menswear Week showcase, and the July SS16 collections will be no different. \u00a0Director of SAMW, Ryan Beswick had the following to say on the venue, “it’s taken our idea of concrete and underground to new levels, our team has found the perfect space for July.” \u00a0He went on to add, “it’s big enough to accommodate our evolving show space concepts, and builds on what worked and addresses many of the things people wanted too. \u00a0It’s really going to difficult to top this venue in February next year!”<\/p>\n
